Liver Dog Treat Recipe
Try this liver dog treat recipe that's made with rice flour instead of wheat or corn products, It's a perfect choice for dogs with food sensitivities.
Rice flour is carried in most supermarkets these days, but check a natural food store if your local grocer doesn’t carry it.

Liver Dog Treat Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups brown rice flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ cup cooked brown rice
- ½ pound beef liver
- 2 eggs
- 3 Tablespoons safflower oil
Liver and Brown RiceSteps:
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Combine rice flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl.
- Separately mix the rice and liver in a food processor until smooth.
- Stir the liver mixture, eggs and safflower oil into the dry ingredients until it forms a workable dough..
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface to make a square.
- Cut the dough into ½ inch pieces or use a cookie cutter of any shape you prefer.
- Transfer treats on a cookie sheet.
- Bake 4 to 7 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
