Ben's Crunchy Meat Treats

by Jill

  • 1/2 cup non-fat powdered milk

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 1/2 cups rice flour

  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1 tsp. honey

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 5 tsp. chicken or beef broth

  • 1 jar baby food meat (any flavor that does not have onion powder in it)

  • Directions:

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

    2. Combine all ingredients well.

    3. Roll out dough to desired thickness, about 1/4-inch, then cut into interesting doggie shapes.

    4. Bake for 20-30 minutes - will depend on thickness, so watch carefully. Cool completely.

The biscuits should turn out hard and crunchy.

Ben loves them - hope your dog will too.

This sounds like a recipe my dog, Daisy, will enjoy. I especially like using rice flour in dog food recipes.

    Thanks for sharing.
